Pearson, Simon, Warshaw & Penny, LLP and Girardi & Keese have filed a government claim on behalf of the family of Los Angeles Police Office Spree DeSha. Officer DeSha was tragically killed on September 12, 2008 when a Metrolink train car collided with an Union Pacific train.
The National Transportation Safety Board, said in a statement that Metrolink Engineer Robert M. Sanchez sent the message at 4:22 p.m., just before he slammed into the Union Pacific train Sept. 12 in Chatsworth. He also received a message about a minute earlier, according to the agency.
